Program Information:
Health Basics is a facilitated group for people who want to choose healthy living, lose weight and become more active. These basic life choices can prevent or improve chronic conditions such as obesity, diabetes, arthritis, hypertension, and depression. They will also support healthy aging of the brain and improve mental health. The program reaches low tech and low cost lifestyle choices for a holistic approach that incorporates mindset, activity and nutrition into one program.

Program Format:
Four weeks each session, with each class being once a week for two hours.
There is a manual that participants can purchase for $20, if the fee is a barrier there is a free PDF version that the participant can print on their own

You can self-refer by calling our office at (780) 312-2500 or a referral through a family physician.

Make the course a priority.  Attend the workshops, set a goal and practice skills daily. Your participation and energy focused on positive change
